As the president of Annapolis, Maryland's BBPC & Associates, Tom Cole draws on over 20 years of economic development and planning experience to provide major project consultation to companies in the commercial, residential, transit, and energy sectors.

Using a variety of analytical models, Tom Cole and his Annapolis-based firm have contributed to the development of billions of dollars' worth of construction projects, primarily for the US Department of Navy. For the past 15 years, Tom Cole has served as lead consultant for the Department of Navy's unaccompanied housing privatization projects. In that capacity, he has managed a team of multidisciplinary professionals responsible for providing technical assistance toward the implementation of public capital initiatives and the evaluation of proposed build sites, among other tasks. He has also provided consultation and economic-based project analysis for US Marines and US Air Force projects.

Since becoming BBPC's president in 1996, Mr. Cole has facilitated over $15 billion in construction projects throughout 48 states and five countries and guided the firm to a Bond Buyer Deal of the Year honor in 2007. He earned a bachelor's degree in real estate from the University of Massachusetts in 1987 and later completed a master's degree in city and regional planning at Rutgers University.
